The problem for those who may wish to use public transport is that return services from Thorverton are at 1.10pm and 3.10pm so it may be difficult to get lunch in time if wanting to return on the earlier service.
The walk will be about 4 miles along lanes and footpaths with one steepish ascent. We will have lunch afterwards at the Thorverton Arms.
