Dr. Martin Grossel was going to present a talk about Andrea Angel – A Local Hero, on Wednesday 19th June. Unfortunately due to illness he will be unable to give the talk on that date. He hopes to be able to present it another time.
The talk on 19th June will now be given by John Sheaves and is titled “Food Security and food miles, and the role of Taste of the West”.
John Sheaves is the CEO of Taste of the West which promotes and supports fantastic local food and drink from the South West of England.
His talk will look at issues of food security and the problem of food miles, and why it is important to promote and develop local sources of food and drink.
