On Friday 16 January 2015 Forum held its annual New Year Lunch. Some years ago this was a Christmas Lunch, but it was shifted to a date in January, partly because of event congestion in the run-up to Christmas, and partly to provide something to enliven members' moods during that dreary post-Christmas winter period when everything else is grey and cold.
Thus it was that some 70 members gathered at the Carriages function suite at the Devon Hotel for a lunch. The meal consisted of starter, a carvery main course, dessert, and coffee. This was the fourth time the event had been held at Carriages and feedback suggested it was the best so far.
